Pastoral Care
Illness & Hospital Visits
When you or someone you love is unwell, the church comes to you — on the ward or at home.
How this works
Tell us, and someone will come.
Northmead visits members and their families in hospital and at home. Visits bring prayer, communion where wanted, and practical help — but mostly they bring the reassurance of not being forgotten.
The Hospital & Prisons Ministry runs scheduled rounds, and urgent cases are responded to outside that schedule.
What we need from you
Simply the name, the ward or address, and whether the person is happy to be visited. Hospitals do not tell churches who has been admitted, so if nobody tells us, nobody comes.

Somebody in hospital right now?
Telephone the church office today rather than waiting for Sunday. Give the name and the ward.
