Our Story

Mission & Vision

Possessing the land by reaching un-reached peoples and nations — the church’s stated mandate, in its own words.

Overall mission

Possessing the land by reaching un-reached peoples and nations.

Vision. To be a mature, self-propagating, self-supporting and self-governing Assembly that is possessing the land by reaching un-reached peoples and nations with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mission. We at NAOG believe the Lord has raised us to catalyse twenty-first century mission efforts from Africa, for a harvest of souls in Africa and beyond, in order to effectively possess the land by reaching un-reached peoples and nations.

What it means in practice

Self-propagating, self-supporting and self-governing is a deliberate phrase. It describes a church that plants and sustains itself from within Africa rather than depending on support from outside it — and then sends outward from that base.
