Northmead is a Pentecostal church within the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Zambia — and its name states its conviction.
The Word instructs. The Spirit empowers.
“The Word and the Spirit Bring Life” is not a slogan on a logo. It is a statement about how this church understands the Christian life: Scripture without the Spirit becomes dry, and the Spirit without Scripture becomes unmoored.
Northmead holds to the historic Pentecostal convictions — the authority of Scripture, salvation through Jesus Christ, the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the church as a body sent into the world.
Northmead Assembly of God belongs to the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Zambia, a movement of more than eighteen hundred congregations across the country, and is connected to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Africa across the Southern Africa region.
